Most farmers are villagers. Farmers lived in town, along with craftworkers, traders and other workers and their families. People in ancient Egypt grew everything they need to eat.
Egyptian grew crops like wheat, vegetables, melons, pomegranate and flax (something that made linen).
Grain was very important to the Egyptions it made bread, porridge and beer.
Grain was the first crop they grew after flooding season.
Most of the produce that the farmers made went as tax to the land owners.
